Pro Landscaper Business Awards 2024: Shortlist Announced

We are pleased to announce and share that Ground Control has been shortlisted for two awards at the Pro Landscaper Business Awards.

Ground Control has been shortlisted for both ‘Sustainable Company’ and ‘Landscape Architecture Studio’ at this year's Pro Landscaper Business Awards.

Set to take place in Old Billingsgate in London on 19th April 2024, the awards showcase businesses that show good practices in financial stability, staff training and development, supplier relationships, business systems, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.

The award submission for Sustainable Company of the Year focused on our credentials and ethos driven by our B Corp status and ‘using business as a force for good’.

This approach is exemplified in our works at two Environmental Recovery Centres, solidifying plans to become net zero for 2038 with targets validated by the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi), and several operational and personnel schemes that put sustainability at the focus of our business.

Seeing this reflected in being shortlisted for Sustainable Company of the Year is fantastic recognition of all this hard work.

Ground Control is also shortlisted in the Landscape Architecture Studio category in a year that has seen close campaigning collaboration with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, which resulted in a Silver-Gilt Award at the Chelsea Flower Show and highlighted the importance of Urban Green Space at Green Gains Live 2023.
